The Road to Repair Series
This episode was taped the day before the eighth anniversary of Becca’s death, (Laura’s daughter) so you will hear some emotion in her voice occasionally.
We have been talking about how we are three-part beings (body, soul and spirit), that all three parts break down after the death of our child, and how we can work on repairing those three parts.
The first two weeks we addressed our physical breakdown. The last two weeks we talked about our soul; specifically, our mental and emotional breakdown.
This week we will start talking about our spiritual breakdown, and how to get back on track in this area.
In this episode, host, Laura Diehl, addresses the big question of “Why?” along with a few other issues we struggle with, in our relationship with God after the death of our child.

I will be listening to this again. I still ask why and I still have moments when I am angry again at God. How I wish I have the faith you have and the relationship you have with God. I love this episode. I have needed to hear this and I continue to need to hear it. I really do want to have a closer relationship with God and when I listen to this episode it really encourages me. But I’m still struggling with getting closer to him. I’m trying but I still feel like I’m alone. You have such insight when it comes to God and you are such a blessing.

Where you are is okay! May I suggest you stop trying so hard and just BE… Be in His presence, keep talking to Him from your heart. Don’t let yourself feel guilty for not doing “enough”. Just keep resting in Him. Deep wounds need deep healing. Just be a receiver of the healing.
