The Road to Repair Series
God created us as three-part beings; body, soul and spirit. Too often we don’t think about how these three parts operate separately, or how they are intertwined, with one part affecting the other two parts.
We started out this series by looking at how our soul is affected, which is our mind/thoughts, our will and emotions.
This episode is a continuation of last week with special guest, Denee Martindale, where we started looking at how our bodies are affected. Denee lost her daughter, Naomi, by suicide while battling postpartum depression. Naomi and my daughter, Becca, knew each other here on earth, but it wasn’t until our two daughters were together in heaven that our friendship started. I consider Denee a special friend, and someone I can turn to for health advice.
Last week we talked about four things we can do to strengthen ourselves physically, after the death of our child, and this week we will specifically address the issue of sleep.
Note: This is a recording from our 2017 Virtual Summit (a series of 18 session topics with over 20 guests that could be watched online), which is available in the GPS Hope online store.
Denee Martindale is a mom and grandmother who started her own business in the quest for health after the death of her daughter. Her passion is to help as many people as possible see the connection between physical health and mental health (especially those who have faced trauma and tragedy), guiding them to a place of wholeness, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
