As a parent who has had a child die, it is very common to spend a lot of time thinking about the good things our children are missing out on because they are no longer here. We wish we could trade places with our kids because of those things.
But how often do we think about the fact that they are also missing out on sickness, disease and corruption? They will also never have to go through grieving your death and being here without you.
Trading places with our children may not be what we think it would be. If we could trade places with our children, we would be taking them away from a place with no sickness, no pain, no traumatic events, and removing them from a place of pure joy and love that goes beyond what can be measured.
These are some of the thoughts Laura shares on this week’s episode.
You will also hear the title song Together Forever, from Laura’s soon-to-be released CD.

Grieving Parents Sharing Hope (GPS Hope) is here to walk with parents through the darkness of child-loss, guiding them to a place of hope, light and purpose.
It is a safe place for anyone who has lost a child from this earth. There is no shame or judgment in where you are in this journey, including if you are struggling in your relationship with God or your faith has been completely shattered.

This is a beautiful emotional song. I listened with tears in my eyes, remembering our youngest son Mark, who lost his life four years ago due to an accident abroad, on his own, thousands of miles away us. You have the gift of understanding so much. Laura. Blessings to you and thank you so much for sharing your gift with we grieving parents. Our lovely sunny natured Sparky Mark forever 37.
Laura Diehl says
Thank you, Eve. I am so sorry about Mark. Hugs!
