This week we are looking at Naomi, in the book of Ruth. Naomi lost her husband and both of her sons. She became a bitter woman, blaming God for her troubled life.
She doesn’t realize how much God is at work behind the scenes, and eventually is able to declare that God never stopped showing his grace to her.
Sandwiched in the middle of all this, is Naomi’s daughter-in-law, Ruth. They have a very unusual relationship, which we also explore, especially for those of us who struggle with our son-in-law or daughter-in-law, the spouse of our child who died.
It is possible to make the same circle Naomi did, from fullness, to bitterness, and back to fullness again. Listen to find out how that was able to happen for Naomi, and how it can also happen for you.
